ABOUT PARAMEDICAL
The Department of Paramedical was launched with the guiding philosophy of creation of knowledge, influencing paramedical practices and integrating them globally. Blending traditional knowledge with modern theories and practices, the courses offered embody the University's commitment to leadership in research and innovation in higher education. The curriculum for each individual course has been designed according to mp paramedical council through perfect blend of inputs from renowned academicians and practitioners who are a part of our academic advisory board. The structure of the paramedical studies in this department provides real in depth knowledge, practical knowhow, expert guidance, research & skill driven environment and most modern ICT loaded learning facilities. The academicians at the University are of the highest global caliber and are committed to excellence in teaching and learning. The curriculum arms a student with three Ds - Decision to take right path, Dedication to march with zeal and Determination to succeed with flying colors. The Department would work towards nurturing future young physiotherapists & technicians capable of making a difference in the academics & clinical sectors. The Department of Paramedical would also be working on inculcating human values and professional ethics in the students, which would help them in taking decisions and creating paths which will be good not only for them, but also for the society as well. Research and consultancy work by the faculty not only adds up to the knowledge base, but also contributing to the patients and the society.

B.P.T (Bachelors in physiotherapy)
Specialization : - 10+2 With Biology (PCB) Minimum 50%
Duration : - 4 Years and 6 months compulsory internship
Program Outcome

On successful completion of the Programme, student will be able to :
Apply knowledge and skills of physiotherapeutic education to facilitate their overall professional development through the continuum of care from wellness and prevention to rehabilitation of dysfunction. Organize and implement the preventive, investigative and management plans; and will offer appropriate follow-up services. Identify priorities and effectively manage time and resources to ensure the maintenance or enhancement of the quality of care Undertake health care projects and camps for extending awareness in society about correct physiotherapeutic movements. Graduates will execute ethical practice as physiotherapist in professional and social contexts that govern decision making and respect for the dignity of the patient. Graduates will be able to lead a team in an inter-disciplinary or multi-disciplinary environment in order to ensure clinical productivity and patient satisfaction. Graduates will be able to recognize that their social accountability as a physiotherapist. Students will understand core concepts of clinical ethics and law so that they may apply these to their practice as physicians. Graduates will be able to communicate with patients/clients, care-givers, other health professionals and other members of the community effectively and appropriately. The student will understand the role of using modern tool and techniques for better patient compliance. Recognize to engage in life-long learning for their personal and professional growth.

Program Outcome

Upon the completion of the course student will be able to :
Apply knowledge and technical skills associated with medical lab technology. Perform routine clinical laboratory procedures within acceptable quality control parameters in haematology, chemistry, immunohematology, and microbiology. Demonstrate technical skills, social behavior, and professional awareness imperative upon a laboratory technician. Apply problem solving techniques in identification and correction of procedural errors, instrument malfunctions and verifying the accuracy of laboratory results. Demonstrate ability to plan and implement professional activities. Understand professional and ethical responsibility in medical lab technology practices. Efficiently execute well-designed research experiments, and contribute to organization, analysis and interpretation of clinical data. Understand the impact of laboratory tests in a global and environmental context. Work as a leader in the diverse professional and industrial research areas. Communicate effectively by oral, written, and graphical means. Recognize the need to engage in lifelong learning through continuing education and research.
