The Bachelor of Education (Regular) is a 2-year degree programme designed for students who want to make their career in teaching. The candidates are given extensive project assignments and internships to enhance and cultivate their analytical thinking for solving practical problems. The candidate, after the programme, can work in the capacities of counsellor, content writer, administrator, teacher, and education researcher. The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme is designed to provide aspiring educators with a comprehensive foundation in teaching methodologies, educational theories, and practical skills necessary for a successful career in the field of education. This undergraduate programme prepares individuals to become competent and effective educators in a variety of educational settings, including elementary, middle, and high schools. B.Ed. programme includes essential practical experience.

  • PO1: To know, select, and use learner-centred teaching methods; to understand the paradigm shift in conceptualising disciplinary knowledge in school curriculum; and to develop the necessary competencies for organising learning experiences.
  • PO2: To develop teaching skills and deal with classroom problems.
  • PO3: To develop an analysis of the curriculum, construct a blueprint, select appropriate teaching strategies according to the needs of students, and conduct action research to solve classroom problems.
  • PO4: To present a seminar before peer students and teachers and practise communication skills through various linguistic activities and ICT for better classroom communication.
  • PO5: To understand different values, morality, and social service and accept responsibility for society.
