Programme Overview

The Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Forensic Science at Rabindranath Tagore University is a comprehensive undergraduate program designed to provide students with a strong foundation in the scientific investigation of crimes. Spanning three years (or four years under the National Education Policy – NEP), this program blends core principles of biology, chemistry, and physics with criminal law and forensic techniques to prepare students for careers in forensic laboratories, law enforcement, legal systems, and research organizations. Students are trained in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of physical and digital evidence found at crime scenes. The program emphasizes hands-on learning, case-based teaching, and real-world internship opportunities to ensure students are job-ready from day one.
