Programme overview

The M.Sc. (Ag.) in Agricultural Entomology programme at Rabindranath Tagore University is a two-year post-graduate programme that gives students an in-depth understanding of insects. To address insect biodiversity and conservation across the biological food chain, as well as reduce the damaging effects of insect pests and the associated monetary losses. the ability to carry out different plant protection sectors, proficiency in identifying and managing pests, beekeeping, identifying the major insect pests of crops and their natural enemies, and IPM tactics.
