The Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Coaching is a diploma-level course. The diploma course takes around one year. It is a system of instruction or training for athletes or those who participate in sports. The course syllabus helps a wide range of people develop their performance, skills, and physical fitness while also maximising their potential. Various topics such as sports science, coaching science, and physiology, among many others, are covered in this course. After completing this course, candidates can either seek employment in their chosen field or continue their studies. It is provided on a part-time basis by various colleges and universities. Through this course, candidates may also improve their communication style and sportsmanship techniques both on and off the field.

Students gain knowledge about sports organisation structures, funding models, policies, legal aspects, and sports governance.
