Introduction
National Service Scheme in Rabindranath Tagore
University was started in the year 2014 with 02 units (Boys and Girls
Units). In which at present the program officer of the student unit is Mr.
Gabbar Singh and the program officer of the girl unit is Dr. Rekha Gupta.
The total number of registered volunteers in both
the units is 200.
Adoption Village: - 05 villages have been
adopted by the National Service Scheme. Whose names are – Mendua, Kirat
Nagar, Gokulakundi, Chandla Khedi, Tillendi.
The National Service Scheme Unit has been organizing
unit level seven-day special camps regularly every year except during
the Corona period.
Also, in view of the work of the National Service Scheme Unit, the unit, program officer and institution have also received the State Level National Service Scheme Award by the Higher Education Department of Madhya Pradesh Government.
