  • RNTU Bags Award in News 18 Awards Ceremony – SUSHIKSHA-18

    19 June 2018 was yet another red letter day for RNTU when it. Won award for Most Innovative University in Central India-2018. The award was given by Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan Chief Minister Govt of MP in a live programme on TV. The award was given for most unique initiatives taken by the University in Research, Skill and achievements in Academics and Extension activities.

  • Unnat Bharat starts in a big way

    Base line survey of, 5 villages adopted by RNTU, has commenced. Village heads from all 5 adopted villages i.e. Mendua, Tilendi, Gukulakundi, Chanallkhedi and Keerat Nagar are actively associating with the RNTU team who are preparing road map for the development. NSS team of RNTU has been constantly working in these villages for last 4 years.

  • International Conference ICWEES-18 at Tunisia on 08 May 2018

    RNTU has co oranised in association with A & M Texas University USA and Institut des Regions Arides, Tunisia, an International Conference on Water Energy Environment and Society where 35 countries participated. From RNTU Prof RN Yadav and Prof. Manish Upadhyay were the key note speakers and chaired two technical sessions. Proceedings are being published by Springer and Anusandhan.

  • RNTU student Megha Parmar climbs mount Everest

    Megha Parmar a student of Paramedical department brought laurels to the country by successfully climbing Mount Everest on 16 May 2018.

  • A State of Arts Audio Visual Studio at RNTU

    RNTU has become the only University which has established a state of the art studio within the university where faculty members are recording continuously e-content, MOOC’s and Video lectures

  • Advanced IoT Lab by Frugal & Intel

    An advanced IoT lab has been set up by Frugal and Intel – the leaders in the field. It is first of its kind in central India. The lab has launched four projects of smart monitoring.

  • RabindraNath Tagore University hosts Navonmesh-17

    33rd Central Zone Inter University Cultural Competition Navonmesh was hosted by RabindraNath Tagore University on 04 Nov 2017. In an event of national importance large number of universities of India participated and the event lasted for 10 days in various seminar halls, auditorium and open air stage of the University. Shri Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya Minister for Higher Education Govt of MP was the Chief Guest in the Valedictory Function.

  • Award Galore

    AU bagged two most prestigious awards. In World Education Summit 2016 at Dubai it received Best Private University Award. It won the award for Fastest Growing University at state level.

  • Launch of Core Research Group (CRG)

    Under the Chairmanship of Shri Santosh Choubey, Chancellor RNTU with Prof Vijay Kant Verma the founder VC of RNTU as the convener Director AU took most revolutionary and innovative initiative of forming a Core Research Group. The Group will have annual budget of Rs. 01 Crore to promote research activities in the University.

  • RabindraNath Tagore University selected for Foreign FICCI Delegations

    Successively for all three FICCI delegations, RabindraNath Tagore University represented Madhya Pradesh. First delegation went to China. The second went to European Universities and in 2016 it went to USA.

  • Research Environment Peaks in RabindraNath Tagore University

    RabindraNath Tagore University has developed a good research environment in last 5 years of operation. It has five Govt Funded Projects and 13 self funded projects. Faculty and Scholars have published over 1000 papers and 50 books. It has registered 8 patents.

  • CRG Bulletin launched

    The first CRG Bulletin was launched by Mr. Santosh Choubey Chancellor RNTU in the Academic Coordination Committee gathering, where VC’s, Registrars and top officers of all universities of RabindraNath Tagore Group of Universities were present.

  • Change of Name of RabindraNath Tagore University

    With effect from Jan 2018 as per UGC letter the name of RabindraNath Tagore University has been changed to Rabindranath Tagore University abbreviated as RNTU.

  • Atal Incubation Center awarded to RNTU by Neeti Aayog

    Most prestigious Atal Incubation Center was awarded to RNTU. Out of over two thousand five hundred applications including from various IIT’s AND IIM’s only 36 were selected RNTU is the only private university selected from MP.

  • International Conference ICWEES-2016

    RabindraNath Tagore University in association with ICEWaRM Australia, A & M Texas University USA and MPCST organised an International Conference on Water, Energy. Environment and Society from 14 March to 18 March 2016.350 papers were presented in 8 sessions in which 20 countries participated and about 1000 delegates attended. An International Consortium was also formed.

  • Best Private University-2015

    RabindraNath Tagore University bagged the Prize for the Best Private University in World Education Summit -2015 held at New Delhi. Prof VK Verma received the award.

  • National Conference on Radiation

    A national conference was organised where large number of Scientists from Bhabha Atomic Research Center presented papers on latest and organised exhibition. Large number of universities and industries participated.

  • Interactive Session with Vyankatesh Shukla

    Mr Vyankatesh Shukla President Ti A Silicon Valley USA held a interesting and informative session with students of various institutes.

  • Samman Awards-2015

    RabindraNath Tagore University was awarded Sadhna Samman Awards organised by Media Association. Mr. Narrotam Mishra Cabinet Minister gave the Prize which was received by Prof Verma the VC.

  • Centers of Excellence

    Centers of Excellence established at AU. These are Advanced Material Research Lab (AMRL) Center for Earth and Space Science (CESS), Center for Renewable Energy (CRE), Center for Science Communication (CSC), Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Arts & Culture Center and Agriculture Research Complex (ARC)

  • Instituting a Dr CV Raman Chair

    A chair for science Promotion has been instituted named. Dr CV Raman Chair for science promotion. The University is already having a chair for Arts & Culture named Vanmali Srijan Peeth.

  • International Conference ICETST -14

    14 Feb 2014 was yet another landmark for AU when in 3 days conference 250 research papers large number of posters and models on seven different tacks were presented by 15 countries experts.

  • International Tie up with Microsoft

    AU entered in to a tie up Eduvantage under which Microsoft has established its first Advanced Cloud Computing lab in Madhya Pradesh.

  • RabindraNath Tagore University gets Green Campus Grant by MNRE

    RabindraNath Tagore University is the only university from MP and one among 17 from India selected for Green Campus grant by MNRE.

  • RabindraNath Tagore University Bags ASSOCHAM National Award for Best Upcoming University

    In a Higher Education Summit at New Delhi. AU was awarded Best Upcoming University of India -2014

  • Adoption of Villages by RabindraNath Tagore University

    In the Board of Management it was decided that RabindraNath Tagore University will adopt three nearby villages Mendua, Telikhera and Bangrasia and work for their development. Programme ‘Uththan’ was also launched for these villages.

  • AU switches to Hybrid Renewable Energy

    AU has installed 10.5 kw Solar Wind Hybrid system with participation by students in designing and installation. This system will supply to Engineering Block. In a gradual manner capacity of 200 kw of RE will be achieved.

  • Sports Carnival and Coaching Camp for Rural Schools

    In its mission to bring all over improvement and holistic development in youth AU has launched one month camp and one week sport carnival for all Rural Schools.

  • RabindraNath Tagore University Awarded by NILET for Skill Initiative -2013

    In a glittering ceremony at New Delhi, IT and Communication Minister Shri Shankar Ravi Prasad handed over the Best Skill initiative Trophy to Prof VK Verma VC, AU.

  • First All India Higher Education Summit at AU

    20-21 April 2013 became red letter day where very large number of VC’s Registrars of Indian Universities, Officers of UGC, Planning Commission, AIU and policy makers from Govt bodies and Industries gathered at RabindraNath Tagore University to discuss problems of Quality in Higher Education. This was yet another first by RabindraNath Tagore University.

  • AU Makes Skill Courses Compulsory

    In yet another first, AU made Skill Courses Compulsory. In the academic year 2013-14 the University has offered 8 Skill Courses. A UG student will have to complete at least 2 courses for which separate certificate will be provided. Without completion of 2 skills, Degree will not be provided. Slowly these will form part of syllabus and included in the mark sheet. The University plans to increase skill electives number of over 50 and offer across all disciplines.

  • AU Bag’s Shikha Ratna Award

    In a glittering ceremony at Indore where large number of Universities of India participated, RabindraNath Tagore University was awarded state level Best Upcoming University Award-2012.

  • Bridging the Gap- AU Excellence Award for School Teachers

    In yet another initiative to promote excellence in education RabindraNath Tagore University launched. Excellence Awards for school Teachers in which 32 school teachers were awarded with trophy and certificate.

  • e-Trendz-11 – A Mega National Conference

    With e-Governance and e-Initiatives being the key to development, AU has taken the first initiative to organise a conference on this burning topic where Scientists, Experts and Researchers from central labs, IITs, IIMs, Universities, industries and Govt organisations have participated presenting papers, sharing ideas. 300 papers were short listed and published.

  • Launch of Shika Mitra Scholarship-

    Largest in MP, RabindraNath Tagore University launched biggest scholarship named Shiksha Mitra to improve accessibility and affordability of higher education for economically weaker section and rural people

  • Inauguration of RabindraNath Tagore University

    RabindraNath Tagore University has been established on 30 Dec 2010 by a MP Govt Gazette Notification. It was formally inaugurated by Hon Shekar Datt, Governor CG.
