Rabindranath Tagore University was established in the Raisen district near Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, with the aim of providing quality education at an affordable cost to students from backward regions. The university is committed to building an education system that is accessible and affordable for all students.
The university supports several Government of India initiatives such as Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), Digital India, Swachh Bharat Mission, Jan Dhan Yojana and others.
