International students graduate with pride, unity, and purpose.

Today, the hallowed halls of Rabindranath Tagore University echoed with pride and purpose as 14 international students from Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Ghana, and the Republic of Cameroon were conferred with their degrees, marking a milestone in our growing global academic community.
The ceremony was graced by an illustrious gathering: Chief Guests – Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Chancellor, SCOPE Global Skills University and Mr. Pankaj Pandey, Superintendent of Police, Raisen Along with Shri Santosh Choubey, Chancellor, RNTU, Dr. Aditi Chaturvedi Vats, Pro Chancellor, RNTU, Dr. Vijay Singh, Director, International Affairs (AISECT Group of Universities), Dr. Sangeeta Jauhari, Registrar, RNTU and Dr. R.P. Dubey, Vice Chancellor, RNTU
A shining moment emerged as a young scholar from the Department of Science received the Gold Medal, honouring her academic excellence.
The ceremony reached an emotional crescendo when our Nigerian graduates presented a token of deep cultural appreciation to Chancellor Shri Santosh Choubey—the majestic “Babban Riga” also known as Oga, a traditional West African ceremonial attire reserved for those of high honour and leadership. The Chancellor, in a gesture of solidarity and warmth, wore it with pride during the convocation—a symbol of trust, unity, and global kinship.
This was not just a graduation—it was a celebration of diversity, talent, and a shared global future.
Wherever they go next, these students carry with them not just a degree, but a legacy of learning, cultural harmony, and purpose.
