Rabindranath Tagore University's Judoka Monica Chaudhary (-48 kg) captured the gold medal in the All India Inter University West Zone Championship in weight category. Monica defeated Ritika Kaneria of Golden Gujarat University with Nippon in final. Monica had beaten her opponents with Nippon in the pre-semifinals and quarterfinals. Monica has now qualified for All India with this win.
