Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU), Bhopal, formerly known as AISECT University, was established in 2010 as Madhya Pradesh’s first private university. It is a pioneer in skill-based education and a flagship initiative of the AISECT Group, one of India’s most respected education and skill development organizations.

The IEEE 1st International Conference on Emerging Research in Novel Technologies & Utilities (ICERNTU): Shodh Shikhar is technically sponsored by the IEEE Madhya Pradesh Section. The conference aims to provide a premier forum for researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and students to present their latest research contributions, exchange knowledge, and foster cross-disciplinary collaborations. Participation is encouraged from academia, research organizations, and industry professionals working in all major and multidisciplinary areas.

All the registered and presented papers in the conference will only be submitted to IEEE for their inclusion into IEEE Xplore which is Scopus indexed, subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.

Paper Submission Guidelines

Papers submitted to IEEE ICERNTU-2027 must contain original work by the author(s) that has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. The IEEE anti-plagiarism policy applies to all submissions. The author(s) are solely responsible for any plagiarized content.

All papers must be prepared and submitted in the IEEE standard two-column conference format (A4 size, in English). Papers should be four to six pages in length, including text, figures, photographs, and references. Literature review-only papers will not be accepted. Papers exceeding six pages will be subject to additional page charges.

The first page must include the paper title, author(s), affiliations, and address. While preparing manuscripts, authors are requested not to include titles such as Dr., Prof., Mr., or Ms. in the author list. Each paper will undergo a double-blind peer review by at least three reviewers from the international review panel. All papers must strictly follow the IEEE conference template; submissions not conforming to the format may be rejected. Detailed format information is available on the IEEE website. Submitting authors may be required to create a CMT account before uploading their papers. Click Here to create an account. While uploading, authors must provide the paper title and an abstract (maximum 250 words) in the respective text boxes on the submission page.

Please note: All accepted, registered, and presented papers will be submitted for possible inclusion in IEEE Xplore. Authors must agree to IEEE copyright conditions and complete the IEEE copyright transfer form during the online submission process.

Manuscript and Submission Guidelines

Authors must follow these manuscript guidelines:

1. Manuscripts should be structured as technical papers and represent original, unpublished research that is not under review by any other conference or journal.
2. Papers must be four to six pages, single-spaced, double-column, using 10-point font on A4 size pages (IEEE conference style), including figures, tables, and references.
3. IEEE conference style templates for MS Word and LaTeX are available for download from IEEE eXpress Conference Publishing. Click Here Papers not following these style guidelines may be rejected without review.
4. All submissions will undergo mandatory plagiarism screening as per IEEE guidelines. Click Here Papers violating publication ethics will be desk-rejected, and the parent organizations of all authors will be notified.
5. All submissions will be reviewed by the Program Committee under a double-blind review process.
   → Submissions will be judged on correctness, originality, technical strength, significance, potential impact, quality of presentation, and relevance to the conference scope.
6. The author list and order at the time of submission is final. No co-authors can be added, removed, or re-ordered after the submission deadline or upon acceptance (without exception).
7. Submissions that do not meet size, formatting, or anonymization requirements will be rejected without review.
8. Upon acceptance, at least one author must register for the conference and present the paper. Each accepted paper must have a separate registration.
9. Authors of every accepted paper must sign the IEEE copyright transfer agreement. This must be completed online using the IEEE Copyright Release Form.
10. All accepted and presented papers will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore, subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.

The registration fee structure is provided in the table below. Please note that one author registration covers only one paper and one presenting author. Authors submitting multiple papers must register each additional paper separately, as per the fee chart. However, if a single author is presenting multiple papers, a concession in the registration fee may be provided (not applicable for student category).

If more than one co-author plans to attend and present, an additional registration fee as an attendee must be paid.

The standard length of a paper is six (6) pages. Each extra page beyond this limit will incur an additional charge of USD 15 per page (for international authors) and INR 500 per page (for Indian authors).

Only registered and presented papers will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore®.

The ICERNTU-2027: Shodh Shikhar Conference Proceedings will be published by the IEEE Conference Publishing Services (CPS). All accepted and presented papers that meet IEEE quality and formatting standards will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore® Digital Library.

It is mandatory that at least one author registers and presents each accepted paper in order for it to be included in the conference proceedings. The proceedings will be made available to participants during the conference.
