The Ph.D. law program focusses on legally associated social problems to provide social justice. It aims to equip research scholars with critical and analytical ability by providing them with theoretical and empirical exposure through comprehensive coursework. Research in law enables scholars to pursue research in the front-line areas of basic law as well as interdisciplinary areas of legal research. The minimum eligibility of candidates intending to pursue a doctoral program is a pass with a minimum of 55% in the postgraduate program in the discipline/specialization.
