Department of Law The Institute of Law at Rabindranath Tagore University, Raisen Road, Bhopal, was established in 2014 to provide quality legal education. The Institute offers LL.B., B.A.LL.B., LL.M.and Ph.D. degrees in Law as per the guidelines of the Bar Council of India and the University Grants Commission. It has a flexible curriculum offering several options in different areas of specialisation. It was devised keeping in mind the requirements of the legal profession and academia. The institute has excellent facilities for research in law and presently more than 50 scholars have enrolled in Ph.D. Degree. The programme offered at the Institute of Law incorporates several special opportunities such as internships, clinical programmes, supervisory research, and writing. To promote interaction between students and legal professionals, seminars, guest lectures, and workshops are conducted on various subjects of law at regular intervals. In addition to the mandatory courses spanning across semesters, the School of Law has also introduced numerous other value-added courses and programmes for the benefit of students.
